Wheel to wheel nerf bars?...

thinking about selling my black Westin nerf bars to a buddy and getting some wheel to wheel one's. Who makes them? Where to get 'em? Went to the Waag site, can't tell if I like 'em or not. Any help is appreciated!

My Girlfriend has the Go Rhino w/w bars on her truck. She likes them and they were a cinch to install.

I have the WAAG w/w Bars. They're OK. I think I like the Go Rhino Bars better. GR Didn't have them out when I bought mine. If you have a 3500, The Waag's have a Kickout for them. Looks real trick.

I have the ICI. They have the lifetime warranty. I paid about 550 installed here at a local truck shop.



The only thing I do not like abou them is how they mount on the rear tire end. They bolt straight to the body with two bolts. I thought this might cause problems down the road sine the bed of the truck normally rolls going over bumps and such. I did not realize this til they were already on.



ICI claims that there will not be any problems. But then again it is their product and they are going to support it.

Anybody have any idea about price on go rhino and would anybody know if summit carries them, I'm on my fourth pair of black nerf and I'm look to put on some SS and I like the idea of W/W.

Westin now makes them. I've only found them online at Auto Styles. They are a truck-ship item (no UPS), costs alot more that way. I hope my local retailer can save me the shipping hassle.

I have the WAAGs with dually kickouts on my 3500 4x4 and am very pleased with them. (link in my sigfile below). One thing you should be aware of is, that before installing any wheel-to-wheel sidebar, you should very carefully consider, whether or not you are going to haul a slide-in truck camper, because if you have a preference for the Torqlift camper tie-downs for instance, then wheel-to-wheel bars will use a (common) location point thus preventing you from using the two together; the way around it is to consider the use of the Happijacs camper tiedowns mounting system, but there are cons as well as pros to be taken into consideration.
