1/2 hour labor

Had mine put on for around $20 at the dealer. I notice F and C don't have them, so DC had to get cheap also. Next thing we will have to pay for the sun-visors? Well worth having.

wheel liners

Liners will not fit if you have a certain types of wheel hitches installed on your truck. I have a B & W hitch on mine and I can not install the liners.

The part # I listed was the # on my reciept and yes it was for a pair.

ACerf brings up a good point. I don't know exactly why they won't fit with B&W but if you have a side release goosneck there may need to be some modification (a hole cut in one) so you can get to the release handle. I have an "Invertaball" by Diamond hitch and there were no issues with clearance.

Acerf, when I had the B & W hitch installed on my pickup, they had to cut approx 2 inch by 2 inch slot on the wheel wheel liner, in order for the lever to go thru. If you cut it neat and in the right spot, they would look great. Good luck

I have a 2004 srw 3500. Was told my dealer that they would not fit due to extra spring on 3500. What is truth fellow 3500 owners?

How would springs, lift, etc... . impact the size of the wheel well? I have a 2500 so I really don't know for sure if the liners fit the 3500, but I'd be surprised if they didn't.

MHubbard, I think your dealer is smoking something. The extra leafs on the 3500 SRW's have no bearing on the wheel liners. I test drove a 3500 SRW yesterday and they said $82. 41 for the liners and they would install them. fwiw

Don't ya just hate dealers and the stories they tell "US" consumers. Dang it now i have to get them again. Knew i should have looked for myself. But No had to let them take the truck out of site and then tell me Naw can't fit them to the truck. Argh!

Liners

I drive mostly on the highways with my truck. Don't know that having them is any real advantage. Since my B&W hitch is bolted to the frame, I like the idea of being able to see the bolts. Just in case one might come lose, not that I think one will, but I guess you never know.

i installed mine tonight in 45 degree weather. I just couldnt wait any longer and i didnt care that i froze my butt off. It took about 25 minutes to do the whole project. While driving it seems much quieter! and it looks great to! I love it and dont regret it at all. Even my girlfriend noticed it looked better  . BTW with 315's these fit perfectly, no rubbing at all!

There are some sheet metal screws that go in the inner/bottom lip/flange of the bed ( by the springs) these holes are laready there. There are some clips to go on the liner and screws that go throungh the holes already in the outer lip. The original small shield gets thrown out. I also have the B&W. Install that before the liners, and use the 4" hole saw for the liner. Make sure left goes in left and right goes in right :D, A previous string mentioned that they do not fit quite right backwards. Not like the old ones- these are not interchangable.

LOL!! I must have just gotten lucky when I installed mine. I didn't realize there was a "left" vs. "right" for the liners. Whew!

I didn't get lucky and only realized there was a left and right after complaining to my wife that the liner on the left side was harder to install that I thought it would be and it didn't fit all that well. She took a look at the one sitting on the driveway for the right side and said , "What is this "L" for".

With that bit o knowledge, they installed and fit just like I heard here they would.

DC isn't the only one that "overlooks" the wheel liners. Take a look at the other trucks out there, you'll see they don't have them either.
