Does anybody know of any good places to go wheeling in South Wester PA? I'm not looking for anything too extreme as my truck is stock and my only vehicle. I'm just looking for some trails/mud etc. Thanks.

Will

I used to go to Connellsville several times a year. Nothing too tough, but fun though. If you want a little more extreme check out Wellsville, OH just across the state line

I can't remember the exact directions but I'm sure you can find pittsburgh st on mapquest. just follow pittsburgh st all the way to the end and the trails will begin:) probably not a great idea to go alone though:( when you get to the old RR bridge, go ahead across it great trails up there.

That sounds cool. I do know where Pittsburgh street is so I'll probably check it out this weekend. Oo. . Thanks for the info.

The place you are looking for in Connellsville is Casparis(sp?). If you are coming into town on 119... . turn at the Dodge garage and follow Pittsburgh st to the end. When you come to a "T" go left. You can't miss it.

I got a chance this past weekend to go and it was a lot of fun. The truck did great Oo. :D  . It is the first time I've had it out since I got it and the length wasn't a problem like I thought it would be (ext. cab long bed).

Thanks for all of the info.

Now if you're ready for something more of a challenge try out Wellsville:D

Although you could spend ALOT of time in Connellsville and not see the same trails twice

Yellow Creek in Wellsville is for some se4rious off roading. People take everything from dirt bikes to full size trucks, and EVERYTHING in between. There are all kinds of people waiting for someone to wreck, so they can all laugh. They also do not care if you are in their way, when they are ready to go they go. Just some food for thought.
