Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Wheels and Tires sugestions

Does any body have a wheel and tire combination that they particularily like.



I just bought a 98 12 V 4x4 5speed with 16. 5X 10 American Racing Wheels with BF Goodrich All Terrain. They are very nice but these tires and wheels stick out too far for my tastes.



My truck use will likley be towing my boat and trailer 8500 IBS (15 % of the time), offroading/hunting(15 % of the time) city highway (70 % of the time).



The maximum height I would like to go is 33 inches.



Suggestions please.

And in case you haven't noticed, you have 2 choices of tire sizes for a 16. 5" rim: 33-12. 5 or 35-12. 5. 16. 5" tire choices use to be very good but now they are nearly extinct. I have 35-12. 5x16. 5 on my truck and I agree with you, they stick out too far and throw too much crap up on the truck. I don't want to add fender flares. I'm still searching for a good deal on some 16" Alcoas.
