Hello

Does anyone sell a wheel for a 1998 that does not stick out past the fender well. My stock wheels are 4 3/4 backspacing. I cant find any wheels that are the same backspacing. What other years (99-05?) will fit on my truck?

Tahnks

I used '01 16x8 alloys on mine. From memory the back spacing is 6. 5" & is the only 16x8 wheel I found that would allow me to run a 285/75 on my 2wd truck

2001 16" rims have a 6. 5 backspace??

you got a pic of them?? I have 315 75 16 that i can mount on them

Thanks

Will they work on 4x4 also

It has more backspacing than the difference in width between the stock steel wheels.

I sent a e-mail, if you'll respond I'll send a pic (the internal e-mail doesn't allow an attachment & I don't have a way to post pics). Look at the FAQ section about using these wheels on our trucks. It does require machining the outer lip of the brake drums for clearance & some trucks have minor issues with the ball joints on the 4x4's.

A note on backspace. . . it depends on wheel width. OFFSET remains consistent with a vehicle.

All factory aluminum wheels 2000 and up are 8" wide with 6" backspace.

All Rams 1994 up are +40mm offset.

Bajabob I haven't heard of the Walker wheels from KORE, only the Welds. What do you know about the Walkers?

Vaughn, they advertise that they are a 5" backspace and are applicable for 94-present. I guess they're a compromise that they came up with. Kore advertises them for $340. 00 apiece and Walker's site sells them for even more(they charge for the trim ring apparently). DRC. gives us a discount supposedly. They look awesome but mucho bucks. I sent you an e-mail
