I still have my stock steel rims. they are too narrow for a lot of tires I've checked out. Will the stock aluminum wheels off of a 2002 GMC heavy duty work on my axles. (8X6. 5 pattern). I have a buddy who has take offs. . Thanks

My guess is the center hole will be to small and they will have way to much offset inwards.

I didn't think about the center hole. . I've never seen them without the center cap. . I was going to tell him to hold them for me but. . I won't be by there again for a week or two. My guess is they'll never fit over the front locking hubs... No big deal. I just thought they were OK looking wheels. .

I think they need a 5 and 1/8 inch bore minimum for our 4x4's, i could be off but it's very close to that. Have your friend measure if possible.

yup, they would need to be bored out to work on the first gen, Oh well...
