3 inches is just right!!!

Rancho suspension only offers a 2" kit for our 2500's although they offer a 3" kit for the 1500. thru some research and due diligency i determined that the 3" spacer is made exactly like the 2" spacer so i thought i would give it a try. the results are excellent. absolutly no rubbing with my 315's on 9. 5" wheels and the looks are premo. You will have to have the larger control arms but the shocks that are designed for the 2" lit work on the 3" as well. Just thought some of you might like to know i tried to post a picture but i cant figure how to make it smaller so it will fit in the message lenghth parameters

Send it to me KatDiesel I'll fix it. Or host it..... prolly both.

2 1/2" Skyjacker

I have no rub either with my Skyjacker 2 1/2" lift kit. I am also running 16x9. 5 Centerlines with 315/75R16 Goodyear MT/Rs:)

What did you use to lift the rear? I have (custom) 2 1/2" coil spacers, and it sits perfectly level sometimes, looks a little sagging at other times. I'd like to get a bit of a rake back. The biggest aftermarket block is 5 1/2, I'd like a 6, am contemplating making a pair, or maybe seeing if I can get one off a '93. (Stock is 4 3/4).

2000ney,

That is not Kat's truck it is Diesel Dan's truck. Read the first post in this thread to find the info you are looking for.

Kat, that is a nice looking rig! What kind of topper is that, and what is the tire size?

Yes I agree its a very nice looking truck, although its not mine :D

If I had to do it over again I prolly would have got an Intense Blue Sport, just because my Patriot Blue is so hard to keep clean. Also if I "had" to have QC then thats the exact look I would want.

I just hosted his picture.

Hello Pete

The rear lift is 1 inch thanks to the addition of custom rear leaf springs. i would not recommend any larger blocks (they are too large from the fact. ) as the axle wrap would be even worse than it is now stock. the rear springs are $ 700 but worth every penny as they ride sooooo much better than stock and allow me to cary a open cup of coffee in the cup holder with no spillage:D

Thanks again Katdiesel for all of your help

how did that date go did ya get to check her oil?:D

i will send you the pictures of the custom rear leaf spring for you to post

Yeah, I'm not a fan of lift block either, the axle wrap with a brass clutch is pretty bad. I'm planning to install a single traction bar at some point to combat it. The new springs are the way to go, but not within reach of my wallet. I still have a blown Dana 60 shaft and hub on the front of the Blazer to fix, plus the trans ain't doin' so hot these days.
