When and What ???

I think there will be some fireworks within two weeks. We'll knock out communications, radar, and the very few highways within Afghanistan to separate the country into sectors and confine bin Laden to his current location. Troops will be deployed into key locations with complete air superiority. After a few terse ultimatums, tactical bombing will commence. Iraq will get a dose as well. Then the waiting game and difficult decisions will come. Grrrrrr.

Sure would be nice to cut them off from the rest of the world including food, nothing going in, nothing going out. Then put the squeeze on them.

I think the three major factors to watch are the phase of the moon, sufficient intel gathered, and the actions of the Taliban in handing over bin Laden.



Two weeks would be about the next new moon, and should give time for decent intel. The rest is up to the Taliban.



I'd say its a fair guess, and worth watching. How much we will know is the only question.
