Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) When are larger injectors needed?

I will be installing PDR towing twins around first of June or so. With my truck as shown I am 1/2 way forward on the camplate. My egts are ok, 1200deg at steady 35 lbs boost. Smoke is not bad. My question is with the twins I will be running around 50 lbs boost. How do you know it is time for bigger injectors?Do you just put them in and hope for the best. Or is there a rule of thumb that is used other than "If you can still see the sun, it needs more fuel".

A local shop said he will loan me a couple sets of injectors If I loan him a couple of turbos to try. Sounds like a deal.
