Back & NASTY AS EVER

FedEx and UPS both contract to small truck companies all over the US. Those contracts sell for big bucks because they are very profitable.

I know several people that own tractors that pull for FEDEX ground. The funny looking trailer setup has been used by SWIFT and has been using them for years. Specialty Auto Transports have been also.

Saw the same truck again today and got some more pics:

That would be called a "tandem dual pup pinnacle hitch" trailer???? Can not find a picture on the internet. SnoKing

Probably a P&D unit delivering freight. Notice on the last picture of the trailer there is no air lines just a cord, and safety chains so it probably set up with electric brakes. There was an out fit here that took regular 28' box vans (pups) and cut them down and different rolling wheels to set them closer to the ground for delivery purposes. thats what it looks like to me, except this one is the same height as the truck. don't make sense.

I couldn't get a picture, but today, headed home from Pigeon Forge, on I81, SW Virginia, I saw a older UPS package car towing a 16' or so enclosed trailer. Painted and lettered (real nice n clean) to match. Headed south. It was a neck snapper.
Strange stuff.

Scott, I just backtracked and saw your recent pics of the FexEx combo. Strange stuff indeed! When I was down there, of course I'm looking at trucks on the Parkway etc, I did see that Will-Ro, Gallatin mudflap.
