another farewell message

Mangled DuraMax

I just realized today mine expired last Tuesday. I WAS going to leave town tommorow for my trip. That's obviously on hold:mad:

I think last time it was due (5 years ago) I recieved a notice in the mail. So I waited for one this year. Then I forgot, got busy planning my trip, whatever.

I just hope someone else may learn from this. Next time I'll look at my license while I'm prepping the truck.

85CJ How old are you?You don't have a birthday listed on your profile so we do not know. Maybe your one of those:confused: persons. Don't feel bad, been there done that. :D

Just renewed mine in August. When taking the eye test, the lady told me to read line 5. I look at it, and then looked at her and told her " I don't think so". Man, this getting old sucks.

Ischultz, I turned 37 last week. I don't have a problem with my age, I just don't like making a big deal out of my birthday, that's why I never list it. I just discovered we can't list year only in our profile, that's kinda funny.

As to being  , I often am, especially when I don't know what's going on:D, or have to much going on.

WI goes by birthdays and the 9 year schedule... . it used to be 4... but they lengthened it to save money.

Also have the license that looks like a credit card on the back. supposedly its supposed to store information and all that BS there. I've convienently made it not readable. :D

MA used to do them every 3 years but now its 5. My drivers lic (Class A CDL) is up Jan 2007 and my hoisting engineers lic is up Jan 2005. Ma does those every 2 years.

Mine expires 01/30/05. I saw where CO was considering going to 10 years, and only having to go in to get a picture/ eye test every other time- 20 years between eye tests/ pictures. Not sure what came of it. This was a while back. I think 5 years is long enough for vision tests- some people cant see you on the road when you are in a semi; if they wait 20 years, they will be blind, though who would really know the differnce?

I am "visiting" MO- tags expire in April; nice excuse for a trip west if I happen to still be here then. Here in the swamp, they like tags and DL to match. ALso like tags to be current. GO figure. Cant wait to go back home.
