I hve 316K on my 94 and no signs of weakness, just oil leaks out of front case area!!!!!!

thats great kevin,mine also leaks out the front cover area,ive even taken it off and replaced the cover gasket and front seal. I believe it leaks betweem the block and aluiminum plate,i think that gasket is about gozo.

The Cummins will outlast the truck and also the gaskets that keep the oil inside the motor. If you ever get to the point that an overhaul needed, about a million miles, the crank will only need polishing and get ready for the next mil. stormy
