Do a search on here for the part number, but they run about $100 from Cummins. The dealer will only sell the FCA as part of the CP3... at least that was the story at my local dealer.

Only buy Genuine BOSCH FCA, I notice that Cummins is now selling a knock off, One problem with the knock off,is the pins (Bosch Harness) are made by tyco and the harness is made by BOSCH. The Pins are next to impossible to Buy. the knock off is more of a round pin, and the tyco is flat, this destroys the Male connector on the Truck Harness. " of course we have the correct 2 pin terminal, but We had to Buy 7000 pins to make it".

FCA Part #'s, Bosch 0928400666, Cummins 4932457, Dodge 5183245AA

Good write up, thanks every one for the replies. I'll get a kit on the way in the next little bit and see how it turns out.

JJPage you say to use a 2 micron filter and a w/f seperator. I see you are using a GDP fuel delivery and a intake horn. On GDP website I see the filter thats under the intake horn. What w/f seperator you have and where is it mounted? Thanks

I have a Fleetguard duel filter head mounted on driver's inside frame, just in front of the fuel tank and before the Walbro lift pump. I use Fleetguard FS1212 and FF5320, or Baldwin BF1212 and BF7633.

I also retained my factory fuel filter canister with filter. I know this is not optimal, my 2mic filter and extra f/w sep should be in between the factory filter canister and CP3 injection pump. I have an engine mounted APPS, could not hang the filter off the intake horn, so for now, it is what it is...

So I haven't managed to get around to replacing the FCA on my pump yet. What I HAVE managed to do was hang a first class butt kicking on a mouthy welder in a Duramax, but was the overall loser in the end with a misfiring truck and lots of blue smoke :{. Fortunately it was dark and the Duramax didn't see the end result:D. I used my Snap-On MODIS to do some preliminary checks, and found by killing each cylinder individually, only 2 made it run worse, not a good sign... ... looks like I've settled wether or not I need to have the injectors checked... ... ... ... ... ... crap.
