Have a 99 24 valve, automatic that has been rebuilt once with some upgrades, Edge, with 200,000 + miles that still runs well. Should I be replacing the injectors as part of maintenance or wait till I start having problems. And if so which ones for a mild upgrade. Have considered injectors that are installed in the manual trans and the RV injectors.

I agree with Boeing, get the RVs. Stock injectors will last a long time though. unless looking for a mild power upgrade or have a failing injector would be only reasons I could see for a swap.

Injectors USUALLY last well past 200k miles, but there are a lot of variables that could shorten the life. If you aren't making oil or haven't noticed a loss in power or mpg they are likely just fine. If your looking for a mild power upgrade the RV275s along with a programmer make for a good reliable combo. You could go up to about a +60-70hp injector depending on the level you run your programmer at and stay within the means of the factory Turbo. Much past that and you'll have to drive with one eye on the pyro if you tow at all.

Hmmm. Ive heard that even with rv275's and an auto trans, you really need to do some trans upgrades first. It that not the case ?

Yes indeed, and the OP indicated his has been gone through with some "upgrades". Of course it is up to him to determine whether or not it has been built sufficiently, but he didn't ask about it so I'm ASSuming he's got it covered :D
