2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission When was your truck born?

June 4 2001 @ 1pm in St. Louis MO shipped to Castle Rock CO then trucked to Billings Montana (my request) where I addopted her on July 28th 01.

I just compleated a private room for her... it's 1300 square feet with a nine foot sectional door (cuz she's tall) with drains in the floor and hot and cold running water for her bath. Fully sheetrocked and coated in elastomeric for a "spa-like" service room. This truck is spoiled rotten

My guess.........

Would be when they ran out of parts for the POS rear drum brakes. Some accountant told them they could save a million bucks using them up and doing a mid year switch.

My truck was built December 11, 2000 and rolled off the assembly line at 8:00pm and I have the GOOD block Also, the truck is a standard cab so it was built in Mexico. There are no standard cabs built in the United States or Canada as far as I know.

I'm sure it was built in Lago and it is undercoated. That plant closed the end of 9/02. Lago was in a suburb of Mexico city.

My Q/C was built at the Fenton, Mo. plant 12 miles from my house on 6/15/5:00 1998 Too late to order a 99 but had trouble finding a 98 like I wanted. Dealer in town had it coming in for their inventory. Put my name on it on a friday, it was scheduled to be built the next Monday, salesman said he could put an employee tag on it on the line, picked it up from the dealer that friday. No time to back out, that money was spent. Been loving it ever since.

SNOKING Ram was born in Lago Alberto on 5-23-01 at 6PM. SN 567907 And yes the underside of the cab is undercoated. Today I disconnect one side of the rear sway bar and yes is drives smoooother. "Steering has been stablized". Chris

Mine was born on July 10th 2002 at 5:00 AM at the Lago plant. I bought it off the lot in the sunny state of Washington on August 16th 2002 at 1:30PM.
