Where can I buy a lift pump for a 600?

I am wanting a spare to carry in the truck. I'm not convinced that the in-tank conversion is the solution, so I would like to keep my lp where it is and where I can change it myself in an emergency if need be. .



I know the dealship will no longer sell the pump now due to the in-tank setup. . Can I order one from a Cummins parts store or am I S. O. L??

They have got to still be in the system. If you want one, I'm sure they can scrounge one up for you at the local Cummins dealer.

Used lift pump

I have a slightly used lift pump. Mine went out in Canada and I bought one at a Cummins dealer to get back to Montana where they put the new pump fix in the tank. It has about 1000 miles on it. You can contact me at 970-586-9191. Max Burkhalter.

I put a pusher pump on my 04 when the last lift pump failed... that was 45 or 50 K miles ago... the lift pump is out again... .



A search of the system found 1 new in tank kit... . from a dealer in SD... . I called they shipped it UPS Red... my dealer says this kit is on national back order... with 400 backorders in the system...



However Dave Smith in Kellogg ID has several of the stock lift pumps on the shelf... . The dealers are saying that once the old stock lift pumps are out of inventory there will no more of them...



After loosing 2 of these already I'm making the change to the new kit. . like whats in my sons 04. 5 and my 05



BTW the new kit was priced to us from 230 bucks with freight about 285. 00 to as much as 747. 00 from a local dealer..... we called using the current part number... .
