I'm fixing up the upper part of my interior since I had to take the headliner out for cab lights anyway. I have the typical overhead light flopping around in the console problem, and the clips that are supposed to hold the driver side a-pillar cover in place have come off, so that's loose. I've been searching the usual places like eBay and so forth, but I'm not having much luck. Anyone know where I might find new OEM interior stuff like that????

I know that dealer's can be expensive if you have not already tried

www.jcwhitney.com

www.stylinconcepts.com

www.genosgarage.com

I fixed my map lights with silicone and re-glued my clips on the a-pillar. Everythings working great.

I've found some parts I needed at:

www.partstrain.com

www.makeitmopar.com

www.rockauto.com

selection is limited at those places, but it you can find a parts place tied to a dealer (like makeitmopar.com), sometimes you can get them on the phone and get OEM parts discounted pretty good and shipped to you.

Being real nice to the parts guy at your local dealership helps too. Instead of calling the local parts guy, go there. Have your VIN and parts needed all handy. Be polite and not rushed. That usually gets me a discount when I go in.

hey atleast you didnt reach down to release the parking brake while jocking trailers one afternoon and the flimsy plastic that holds the cable to the handle break on ya. I'm still scarred to go the dealer to buy a replacement for it and I would be willing to be that would be the only place to find one.

try this site. www.spaldings.com it's for a local wrecking yard. I've done business there and have been extremely happy. I just checked the site, apparently you need to double click on the icons, but it has a pretty good listing of the parts for your specific vehicle. They'll be cheaper than factory parts.

What color interior? I'll probably be parting out my blue '94 interior unless I can find the parts I need to make a blue extended cab. (including a rust/damage free cab)

If don't have gauges you have an opportunity to put in an A piller gauge setup and gauges. Typically, you have to paint the piller gauge holders as they are usually black. I got gray paint from the dealer and it is almost a perfect match. I also got the overhead console from a company on the internet. Not sure of the company name but I think it was www.moparpartz.com but the dealers also have them. Cost was about $70 and it came in the correct color.

I have gauges on the a-pillar, but the cover I got doesn't go all the way down to the kick plate, like the stocker. Not to mention, there's no provisions for the clips that hold it to the truck structure. I think the pop rivet idea may have worked, but the rivets I had on hand didn't have a long enough grip length to get a good bite. I think I may try longer rivets for that. Then I'll have to take a closer look at the mounting for the map lights in the overhead to see if I can fix it so they'll stay put. It's pretty clear some of the manufacturing techniques DC has are pretty iffy.

I removed the stock A-pillar cover when I moved my gauges to the pillar. The little strip of body color isn't really noticable. I used long black screws to hold the gauge pillar cover in place. It's a little bit tricky to get the screws all lined up but I'll do it this was again when I install my new cab.
