Hello All,

This is my first post on the forums, mostly because I do not yet own a CTD.

The problem I'm haveing is locating one. I live in NE Ohio and I've been scouring the ads and the internet. My girlfriend thinks I want this truck more than her. (weellll maybe

Anywho, any body have any advice on where to look and more importantly how much I should expect to pay for a 99' to 01' quad cab, 4X4, 3/4 ton, shortbed or long bed (beggers can't be choosers), 5 or 6 speed. I need to find on in the next month or so.

Time to dump the ol' Chevy 454SS truck and get a Cummins.

If you want one next week, Christopher's Dodge World in Denver, Co has 150 on their lot. I'm in TN right now, but I'll be headed back to Denver a week from today, (Mon may 13th) if you want to ride with me.

dbryant,

Welcome to the TDR. I had the fever ever since I drove a 99 in late 98 - I swore some day but never a new one. Finally in May of last year after searching the web (Autobytell, etc - do a search for automobiles and keep looking) I found her price was so low I called the dealership and asked what was wrong? A 120 mile trip that weekend and a 30 mile test drive revealed a few minor infractions and a deposit was left. The rest is history, as they say.

;) She's out there just be patient and you'll know the moment it's right. ;) Tell your girlfriend not to be jealous of her:D

AZCUMMINS,

Thanks for the offer (talk about lending a hand!):) But that is a bit far to drive. I do appreciate the offer though.

Joe Mc,

I'm tryin'. I've been looking everywhere I can. I'll keep looking though.

The bed of the truck is looking mighty comfy to sleep in

:D , maybe I'll just get a dog to sleep next to instead;) .

hey man... . my friend with a 95 2500 can make it from Denver to Indiana in two tanks and 17 hrs. It ain't that far! Besides, with your new truck, you won't want to get out of it and this is a perfect way to justify driving it for hours on end to your GF...
