Where can I find....

A Caterpillar hitch receiver cover ??? I saw one the other day on a truck and want one for the new Drawtite I just put on the wife's van. I checked high and low on the net, even went to the Caterpillar site, no luck. The one I saw appeared to be just a plastic plug with this symbol on same... .

I'd take the Goughs over the Cat symbol... *LOL*



You may want to give these guys a try... They are a pretty big Cat dealer out here, everything from engines to heavy equipment. If they don't have it, they'll know who does.

Thanks Evan, I tried that number, they suggested either the power service or heavy equipment branch (spoke with the answering service). Tried the power service branch as it was the only one open at this time, no go. I'll try the other department in the AM. Thanks again for the possible source.

Scott, I've seen them in Cat's accessory paper catalog, the one where they sell shoes, hats, etc.

If you can't find one, try this. I have some nice metal Cat emblems on my toolboxes. You could go to a Cat House and buy one you like and then with a piece of 2" square tubing, drill a pin hole in it and attach the emblem to the other end.

Bill, you wouldn't have one of those paper catalogs around that you could send my way, would ya ? I thought for sure I would find it searching the net, found their boots, clothing, etc. , but no receiver plugs.
