Where can I get a class V titan for my 3500

I want to put a class v titan on my truck but todate have not found one on the web that list my truck.



Who has a dodge 3500 4x4 1999 with a titain on it the wts I want are or more. 2 inch receiver



1200 tounge wt

12000 wt distribution towing



I want to take of the DC hitch and bolt the titan in the same holes is that possible.

I've got this one on my 01 3500. I got it from a place down in Texas. I didn't have to drill any holes, the layout does make using the factory wire harness a bit difficult. Forgot the weight specs > weight carrying 1200/12,000 weight dist 1700/14,000. I found the receipt> 1-800-841-4661/ Discount Hitch & Truck Acces, Doug Calloway.

Isn't the Titan a 2. 5" receiver.



I installed the Putnam Class V XDR. It has a 2" receiver which explains it's lower weight carrying numbers 1200 tongue/10000 trailer. It's weight dist. numbers are 1700 tongue/14,000 trailer. The hitch installs easily and looks much nicer tucked up under the truck than the factory hitch. I paid $160 for mine.

Cooker is right, the Reese Titan V hitch is 2. 5". This hitch can be purchased at Camping World.

I purchased a Draw-Tite class V hitch to replace the factory class 3 hitch and sent the receipt to Dodge and got reimbursed for the hitch and labor. I did have to return the broken factory hitch to the dealer.



I don't know it it is 2 or 2 1/2". I did not know there were 2 different sizes. I use my equalizer hitch in it as well as other hitches. I believe it is 12K cap. without the equalizer bars and 14k with them. I believe it also bolted up to the factory mounting holes. I got it at Joe's Hitch and Trailer in Dallas.

2" or 2.5"?

I believe the Reese Titan V is the only class 5 hitch that has the 2. 5" receiver... all others are 2". Also noteworthy is the Tork Lift hitch is of a double 2" (patented) design. Both of the "stacked" receivers are used simultaneously when a hitch extension is utilized. IMO, this is the best hitch on the market when an extension is necessary (even though I have a Reese Titan V). As you might have suspected, the double extensions are purchased from Tork Lift and are available in varying lengths.

If anybody with the Reese Titan V needs the hitch extension, email me... I have one sitting in my garage collecting dust ever since I upgraded to the Torklift setup...

I found the best deal on my Titan V hitch from the Lance camper dealer a ways from me. Apparantly Lance and Reese have a deal worked out that allows the Lance dealers to get them cheaper. I purchased the hitch, the adapter to allow regular 2" ball mounts, the extension bar, the safety chains, and the extension harness for the trailer lights all for $450 installed. I couldn't find even the parts for that cheap, much less installed.

I've got the titan on my 2001. 5 3500 chassis cab. The rear 4 bolts all went in, but the front two I had to drill.

Great Hitch, went on easy. Use a floor jack and you can easily do it yourself. I did not need to drill a single hole. It was completely a bolt in job.



If you do order it, order the 2" - 2. 5" sleeve adapter... if you already have the tow bars you need...

I'm using a Draw Tight WD system with the Titan hitch, and I use the reducer sleeve. Tows great.
