I was at the RMTDR event at ATS's facility last Saturday. I was very impressed with the people and the facility. I'm not sure who has the best price. But I don't think you could ask for a more professional group to buy it from. These are different people than who makes the ATS manifold, but the guy who does was their and made a presentation of his product. I'm waitin' for his ball bearing turbo...

i have a couple friends that need them again. i will probably order 10 more tomorrow. send me an email,

Lightman I believe they will help EGTs a bit, provide better exhaust flow especially for those with power cranked up, and look better, and are stronger too.

They take a bit of work to install but nothing monumental. I just finished mine tonight. The biggest challenges are removing the turbo, removing the coolant hose bracket, and putting the two halves together (gotta pound them together and make sure they're lined up straight).

The manifolds do not come with gaskets, you will need to order these from a place such as Cummins or Piers. Need the gaskets for the exhaust ports and the one between the manifold & turbo.

Read more about it on my other post: Removing Exhaust Manifold (Grrr!)

I haven't had time to drive yet to get any performance impressions but early indications are exhaust note sounds a little better and deeper. Stock manifold is kinda sad for the back 3 cylinders.

Swapping the manifolds is not a hard job, espeacially if you have an air comp. and the proper tools. About an hour job.

Since your truck is new, it shouldn't be too bad. Getting the nuts/bolts off to remove a turbo can be a bit of a trick sometimes. If needed, PB Blaster works wonders without using a torch to heat things up.

Wasn't there a discussion here about getting a better price with a group buy of 10 or so manifolds?

I may be interested in that.

After putting miles on my truck it seems smoother and more responsive, but I also put "Fred" back on (Piers modified stock turbo). Even though I'm not running a box this truck is running real nice now. I'd guess I picked up 10-15 HP.

Ken yes it helps EGTs to the tune of 100-150F and basically takes the edge off them for guys who are at stock power or mild upgrades such as an EZ (not counting TST's new box).

Piers machined the compressor housing, installed an HX40 pinwheel on that side and beefed up the bearing. Didn't do anything with the exhaust side though. I don't have gauges and I'm running stock power but there is a noticeable boost in power in the midrange and it spools as well as stock. I'm happy with it. It has helped my 60-85mph acceleration time considerably when passing. Mine is the first one he ever did, he's trying a couple more to see if he can tweak 'em some more. We're talking mid $300s approximate upgrade if you send yours in, I don't know how much if he sends you one.
