What's the difference between this pure purple and pump diesel? or off-road diesel?

Would B100 be a bad choice for a race only rig?

Purepurple was made by Williams Motorsports and they are no longer around as the owner has passed away. It has been bought out by SRX. I am a dealer for them and sell thier racing diesel in two types; The original formula and Super Stock formula. They also have synthetic pump lube for water injection systems and starting aid thats good for about 20hp on the dyno when added to the fuel.

Diesel Nut, I will send you a pm when I get some new brochures in from this company. I only have the old ones for purepurple. Keep in mind that this stuff is $16 a gallon so if you don't need it, I wouldn't use it. Its mainly made for sanctioned organizations that have a rule on what type of fuel you can use.

Just curius if the reason alot of you are thinking about this is because of the new Low Sulfer fuel? I posted here about that last week and didn't get as much of a response as I wanted. I think that finding any racing Diesel fuel up here in Canada will be a hard to find but don't want to run the ULSD in the truck.



What makes Pure Purple or the other types so good? I would guess a high Cetane rating and extra lubrication? anything else?



How many out there are considering just running #2 coloured fuel (off-road) diesel? I have been told that it won't be changing to ULSD due to the fact that it would probably take out all the injection pumps in older tractors and other off-road equipment.

Nate, I won 5 gallons of pure purple at a pull in 05. Remember when I had the small tank in my bed? I used it till the 5 gallons ran out but I never bought any more because it's too expensive and I couldn't really tell the difference. I had top secret racing diesel fuel from Meijers in my truck all last season.
