Where can I learn to maneuver a 5th wheel?

And it also takes more turning of the steering wheel to correct it once the trailer starts to turn. The key is to start correcting before you think you need to.
 
FWIW the most recent issue of TDR has pictures of different hand signals that you and a spotter can use to help aid in backing up.
 
Like everyone else said, a 5th wheel is easier than a bumper pull because the pivot point is in your bed several feet ahead. The other reason is that you can bring a 5th wheel trailer to less than 90 degrees to your truck where as with a bumper pull when you start getting less than 90 degrees you are going to jackknife.
 
Big mostly empty truck stop is a good place to learn to manuever/backup any trailer. When backing, use this G. O. A. L. = GET OUT AND LOOK. Don't ever let anyone drive you. If you feel your getting close to something, or your not sure, get out and look, even if the camper next to you is telling u its ok and come on back. Bill
