Where did the smell go?

I changed oil today and used the Rotella T in the new bottles. When I was on the test spin I noticed the smell was gone. I miss it. Has anyone else noticed this? I went back home scared thinking I put the wrong oil in! It is the right stuff. 15-40 ci-4 plus.

The CI-4+ Rotella doesn't have the smell.
