Where did you install your MaxBrake controller

Just ordered a MaxBrake controller from Dutch & Di. I wondering about what options I have for placement on my 2005 Ram. Any suggestions?

I put my BrakeSmart in the center cubby, below the hvac controls. It's out of the way and easy to access/program if needed.

That's where I would put it IF I had a cubby. My 4X4 controls are there and no cubby on my truck.

Just put mine on the dash below the A/C control. easy to get to and make adjustments to the gain control as well as use the hand controler. Doesn't look like much but is very handy by right hand.

Not challenging that statement but just curious as to where they would state that. Certainly could add to an injury in an accident.

Probably because some people are too stupid to use those wisely as well.

We put ours where Blue Meanie did for 2 reasons:

1. We can't hit it with our knee

2. Safety. If something happens to the driver, the passenger can reach over and grab the manual lever bringing everything to a stop. You might be crooked but you'll be stopped. Di

I took the extra hour to put my brake controller in the cubby. Not hard, just takes a little time.

Too bad it's too big to fit where the useless ashtray sits. I could keep my change somewhere else.
