Where Do Cats Go?

I have a couple of "fixed" cats who disappear for days, sometimes weeks, at a time. Sometimes I think they're gone for good but they always come home and are fat as ever. I've been thinking they're two timing me, by visiting their other "home".

I thought fixing them would prevent the wandering.

If somebody through me in a kennel and then hauled me to some unknown place to have my parts chopped off. I don't think I would stick around anymore either.

My shepherd mix might be able to answer that question for a few of you whos cat has not ever returned.



He's had four of them in his lifetime (that I'm aware of) and he's constantly watching for more. Not a problem by me. Keeps the the garden looking so much nicer.

I know where someone's cat is tonight. I heard my wife talking like she'd lost her mind outside and when I looked to see, there she was with a little grey she cat. It's 10:35pm and here's this little cat laying on the foot of our bed. I don't mind and she'll love you to death if you let her. We keep our fixed male cat inside the house. He used to skip town for days and my wife would worry. I'd tell her he'll come home when he's ready. He always did. Dammit!
