I Have A 03 4x2 Automatic... i Have A 378 Garmin Gps, I'd Like To Hook The Audio From The Gps Into The Truck Radio... Does The Radio Have A Input Jack For The Gps..... how Do I Get The Radio Out Of The Dash?? I Have The Standard Radio With Cd Player In The Truck?? Thanks For Your Help... . doc

my garmin's charger has a speaker built into it, the nice lady talks to me through that. that way I can hear it while listening to my music. if you got an input for your radio, you would have to be switched to that to hear the GPS OR your radio, not both at the same time. having an extra speaker is nice. I use the accessory plug down by the xfer case shifter, it is always on.

I don't believe that the factory unit would be able to accept the input from the GPS. It is more likely that you would have to purchase some sort of adapter to use it with the factory. Try crutchfield. I've been using them for years.

. i Have A Speaker On The Gps But I Thought If I Could Run The Audio Into The Truck Radio I Could Control The Volume Much Better... i Notice A Audio Output On The Gps,, But Im Not Sure If There Is A Input On The Truck Radio And I Don't Know How To Remove The Truck Radio To Check... Anybody Got Any Idea's???????thanks Doc

You remove the radio by first removing the screw behind the bag hook on the passanger side. After that grab the hook and pull the center trim will all come off as one. Watch the lighter plug cable as there is just enought to reach behind and unplug it. Once center trim is removed you will see the four screws that hold the radio in.
