Where does your truck rattle?

Besides being a diesel and the rattle that comes with that. . what rattles do you have in side your truck?



I get it inside my drivers side door like the door is loose, deep inside the dash, and the cup holder. :{



Anybody have any quick fixes for any of these besides turning up the stereo?

my doors rattled... Fix = took door panels off and installed 1/4 " rubber padding in a couple different places



ashtray rattled... fix = took it out and threw away



Mirror vibrated... . fix = adjusted the mirror so it was in the right position that the wind wouldnt be hitting the mirror. . (wind was causing it to shake... thus rattle. . )



Everything is fixed for now

50 mph, crack the back windows and hold your ears. . There is a presure thing happening inside the truck. It feels like you are at 3000' in an airplane and the presure drops, on and off. Hurts like heck!



Also the drivers door, and both front speakers with the Infinity system. For the $1000 upgrade, Im not impressed.

I agree with you on that one... I wouldnt accept a truck without the infinity system now i wish i never got this system. . IT SUCKS... .

Had the clutch disc rattle till they put in the revised disc, other than that no rattles!! Oo.

The spring latch on the Cup Holder rattles like crazy... prolly a little vaseline would fix it... drivin me nutz.



Dodge was NEVER good at those cup holder push-type mechanisms... .

There's this strange, rattling noise coming from under the hood whenever I start the engine. Oh, it's supposed to do that? Well, OK, in that case, I don't have any other rattles (seriously).

My girlfriend and I call that the "Ear Drum Hammer" LOL. I hat thtat and our dog always wants the window down. What a little fawker. haha

door lock knobs rattle have to keep doors unlocked, still a slight rattle

No rattles in my '04 other than fuel on piston

For that matter, same with my '97.

Only sound on my 04 is the huge cat tapping the skid plate (only when I hit bump a specific way). Not much room between the two. For those of you wondering, my new "600" has more zip than my old 03. Very tight truck! I'm a happy soul!

The infamous drivers side door rattle. Sounds like the speaker is going out almost. The second I haven't heard from anyone else; the washer actuator on the turn signal switch buzzes at certain points. Move it a little bit and it goes away - moderately annoying. That door is the bad one...

For 30-40 thousand dollars you'd have a fine car, I mean FINE. No rattles, gears noises or vibrations ... ... ... ..... but, then it'd be a car wouldn't it?

i have a squeek/groan coming from the drivers side a pillar where it comes in contact with the dash. i have one exhaust clamp under the truck just ever so slightly touching a cross member so on take off with 0 throttle, the engine torques over and it buzz' against the CM. but that will be fixed with the 5" pipes i have sitting in the basement at present...
