Pretty much says it all in heading... . just trying to figure out where everyone installing gauges in the 06's... . I have a 6 spd, dont really wanna do a-pillar for 1 because dont wanna lose the grab handle and for 2 it creates a big blind spot... . Dont wanna do dash either so it looks like i am pretty much stuck with the overhead but have heard that they having a hard time sticking up there??????????????????????????

WHAT DO I DO?

i use the single gauge in the pillar. It looks clean, can be bought through Dodge or genos and you still have the grab handle. It came out in the srt-10 trucks. You replace the entire pillar with the new one and it takes no time at all.

Under radio??

Something I'm thinking of is a 3 gauge pod in the radio bay. I've replaced the stock radio with a Sony. This gives you a small space under the Sony (about the thickness of 2 CD cases) with the intall kit for the aftermarker radios. Under that is the factory dead space of about 1. 5 inches. If I could consolidate the two spaces, I would leave enough room for some gauges. But pulling this off and looking good might be a trick. I want to get an all black (read no woodgrain) bezel for a navigation radio. That way there would be one large space under the aftermarket radio. If you are willing to get rid of the stock radio, this could be an option. The parts girl at my dealer (who is the most knowledgable person in the whole place) is have troube figuring out which bezel would fit my needs. Only thing her book has is a bunch of numbers, so I'm still working on this. I'm now looking at aftermarket dash kits.

Three gage dash pod

The latest issue of the TDR suggested the 3 gage dash pod because its easiest to see. The article is on page 42 I believe. Today I stopped by GENO's and picked up the 3 gage pod and some other items. Up until this point I had been relying on my Juice/Attitude monitor. The write-up was very straightforward. Just my 2 cents worth - hope it helps.

There is a small cubby on the dash that looks like a nice spot for a dual gauge but I haven't seen any mounts for one there yet.
