mpaulson; Nice plumbing job & I never thought of terminating the air line like u did...I'll consider that with some kind of rain cover to keep ice out of the fitting, but like your ingenuity.

I have it angled downward to keep out the dirt, rain and snow. I also keep a canopy on pretty much year round and when it comes off, the quad deck goes on so it's still covered.
I did reinforce the wall of the box as well with some aluminum flatbar 3/8" x 2" on the otherside of the wall that runs about 3" above and below the compressor that is bolted through the box so that the weight of the vibrating compressor doesn't crack the sheet metal at the mounts.

Mine is inside my toolbox. If I ever needed to remove the tool box I would probably move the pump to the void between the bed and bedside, opposite of the fuel neck. There is adequate room and protected from most of the moisture and elements.

N7gx, That looks like a pretty tight fit is that kirby air or some other brand? Did you have to move some stuff around to make it fit. It looks good I makes be want to go that option on my 2013.

No it is not a Kilby system (they don't do a system for the 6.7L), I built it. I used a York 209SC pump and yes it is close. I had to make an adaptor ring to reclock the intake butterfly and length the wires there. I have a manual transmission so I did not have to deal with the transmission cooler lines that run through the same area.
