A year or so ago, there was a lot of talk about MARCO and his ECM updating, to increase the power and performance. Some got to try them out, and I havent heard anything since. It sounded very good, but disapeared fast.

Where is MARCO, and where are his ECM's???

What is the lastest on them??

Apparently European diesel fuel is different from what we have here in the states. From what I understand, that is one hurdle yet to be jumped.

SO

What is the stage of completion are we looking @ and why get all the hype up when they know that the diesel is different?

Is this horse poo or is it the real thing. I really hate it when someone says hey I have something that isn't realeased yet but I have one and you can't.

Serious now!

Hi

I'm just back from my Vacation. Have been sailing for three weeks! THAT was fun!

Let's see where did I leave you with my last update?

OK, the problem(s) I've had with the cheapo stuff you call diesel over there are solved. Took me nearly six month to figure that out.

Your fuel has a much lower cetane rating than the fuel that I get here. The timing I used here did not work quiet well over there.

( White smoke @ cold engine start. ) I ended in having to import a drum of your fuel for testing... Today I know how much higher I have to set the timing to burn the american fuel.

So that problem IS solved.

The beta testers are still doing their thing. I (we) get reports from them, so far everything seems to work almost fine. A few minor things have been brought up, but I can fix them in no time.

So, back to your main question, why does it take so long?

I repeat it again. I ( we ) want to bring a product to the market that's FULLY tested. Once we're sure that the M. A. D. has no more bugs, then we'll let you know. Not a day sooner than that.

Period.

Thanks for remembering ol' Marco from time to time!

Marco

Thanks Marco...

Just like Marco said, we are trying our best to make sure all of the bugs are out of the ECM's before they hit the market.

I know we sound like a broken record when we say they are still being tested, but think about it from our side. If we sell 1000 MAD ECM's and just one goes bad, that is one too many.

Believe me, if Marco was over here or if we were over in his neck of the wood, this would have been done a long time ago. Keep in mind with the shipping time/cost, a simple file stumble debug solution can take as much as a month to correct and test.

Beta testing is going extremely well and we hope to have something soon to offer.

Thank You for your patience...

tick......tock.......tick........tock.......

So if you are advancing the timing, then you add on a COMP box, which advances the timing, don't you have a little TOO MUCH timing advance?

Just Wondering,

Andrew

I wanted to buy Marco’s MAD ECM for awhile and gave up a year ago and bought a PE Comp. Even though some of us may have been disappointed because of the long lead-time, you can’t fault Marco for his drive, persistence and integrity. I think many of us are looking forward to the MAD ECM. I’d love to have the ability to switch between 4 programs. And it wouldn’t bother me much for the Stealer to do a non-authorized flash to the default program, if that’s still how Marco is marketing it. I have no doubt that there will be a MAD ECM in my future.

Thanks for the update.

calm down fellas

Hey guys just a not as in driving smokinrams truck this past weekend I can tell you it will be worth the wait. They work incrediable. So just keep checking and hopefully soon they will be ready.

Beta Testers jump in if I'm wrong... ...

The MAD ECM is supposed to eliminate the need for a "box".

The box programing is incorporated into the ECM.
