Where is the camshaft position sensor?

Where is the camshaft position sensor on the engine.



I have searched til i'm blue.



tried "camshaft position sensor location on engine"



not a hit.

just forward of the top bolt on the ecm and under the fuel pump.

Laying underneath with the wheel turned hard right you'll see the crank sensor on the driver side of the front crank pully (harmonic balancer). The cam sensor plug will look identical and is toward the left side a few inches and above it about a foot. What Tim said above is correct as well.

Look at your engine from the top, driver's side.



Then look at it from the bottom.



Pick the place that is the most difficult to reach from either position, then go a little to the left. There it is!
