Where Is The TPS?

My overdrive does not sork at all. The recent topics about this have me wondering. I have thought all along that the soleinoid was bad in the transmission. But now I am not so sure it it not the TPS or maybe both. I know the on/off switch is good, because I put a brand new one in it, because the old one was broke. When you push it ,the light will come on for it showing O/D off. So apparently it is making contact to the transmission. I was just wondering where the TPS is so I can check it. It sounds like it is a lot easier to get to than the soleinoid inside the transmission. Thanks, Bill

It's a black plastic "thingy" that sits on top of the injector pump. About 2" square and 1/2" thick.
