The valet switch is not a factory item. It is a gizmo the hi hp guys like Joe D and Piers put on their trucks to make their mad rams into sissys. I believe Joe D said it reduced the hp on his truck from the normal 500+ to about 143. This is for times when the truck has to be driven by someone else. This is to prevent the unexpected & unexperienced from killing themselves.

I think HGH is referring to a valet switch for an alarm (looking at his other post). I like to get more info on the "sissy" valet switch though, any idea where? BD?

I am assuming you don't have the factory alarm, and in that case the valet switch is wherever your installer put it. Usually it is placed up under the dash a little bit so it is not too obvious.

Well shoot, I thought everyone could read my mind.

The security alarm system came with the truck. It is a Modular Security System, model 90-902C.

I guess I could send an email to Frahm Dodge where I bought it and find out. They showed it to me when I bought it but who can remember anything they say. I just wanted to drive my truck!!!

Click here for more info on the valet switch to reduce the hp on your engine. I think you can get it from BD, since Piers "invented" it.
