I see them on ebay and of course Piers has them. Does anybody have any input? The ebay ones are cheaper, but sometimes cheaper doesn't pay either.

They are tested/calibrated to be almost exact, one to another..... so they tell me. I love 'em, even the smoke AND idle haze :D Oo. Plus, they give you all kinds of great tips on stuff like the torque specs you don't need and the size of seal washers you can use/not use etc.

I got my PDR POD's through Jeremy at Texas Diesel as I was already getting some other stuff through them (Exhaust, PDR CAM, GSK). Both Jeremy and PDR were great to work with.

I was wondering if PODs were PODs were PODs and I was convinced that the extra testing that PDR does was worth a few extra $$. BTW they come with the thicker washer installed on the injector but PDR recommended replacing them with the thin ones that come with the kit.

Haze not bad at all unless its cold out and the truck runs like crazy!

The haze issue is going to be directly related to the washer size/pump mods (internal or external) and the load on the engine ie auto trans in gear with the a/c on etc.

Some like it, some don't.

I'm not terribly picky about the smoke or haze. I figured I'd advance the timing and run the thin washers to minimize it as much as possible, but other than that, I'm sure it won't bother me any.

My stock injectors have 288k miles on them and the truck runs poorly, so I figured I'd just upgrade the injectors in the name of routine maintenance.

Thanks,

Kevin
