After putting 215 injectors in, and only having the 165 pump, I have the stumble problem. It seems the 191 DV's will take care of this problem. I would like to get some recommendations on whom to buy them from. I'm reluctant to buy from a couple of un-named sources often referred to in this forum. My reason is that after e-mailing to both twice with no response and three phone calls to one of them with no resolution, I can't trust their desire to take care of their customers. Is there another source or two out there that TDR members can recommend? Thanks

Delivery valves may help lessen the infamous stumble, but won't eliminate it. I have cleaned up mine 50%. No more. See Sig.

Strick-9/Chris found alot of the stumble was from the governor springs. The transition from one to another. He made his own seats and has has gotten rid of it. Smart Guy. :)

The only sorce for 12valve parts and information is Piers Diesel (PDR). He's the one that designed the original governer kit. If he's one that your having a hard time getting a hold of KEEP TRYING its well worth it. He'll make sure the parts and information that he gives you are th right one's, and also the ones to take care of your problems, or any other performance needs.

Thanks to All

Thanks to each of you. I know Piers is difficult at best to contact, but if he originally designed some of the first governor springs, he would probably have the cure. Lets assume I get the fix from Piers, should I still consider DV's. The point being that at some point these mods can start creating more engine wear. I intend to keep mine for a few more years and the only thing I'm not liking now is the stumble. Thanks again to all. Oo.

no-strokin, I just installed 215's and have the 160 pump and haven't had any stumble. Are you running an aftermarket fuel plate? I know going to the 370's would require delivery valves but I don't think the 215's need them.

Be patient with the vendors. I know they are busy people who probably answer a lot of questions for free. I'm usually not picky when I get something for free. :D

Steve; I'm running a #5 plate from Piers and his 3K GSK. I think there might be some kind of problem in regards to the GSK that the 215's magnified. I agree that free advice is not often available. I was more disappointed about being told I would be called back in regards to a product I had purchased and then never received the call. I also understand that everyone, myself included drop the ball at times. The problem will eventually be resolved. Just need to be patient.
