Where to buy a VE pump

Where can I purchase a VE pump at? Local auto parts said $ 1800. 00 for one and they would have to factory order it. I have seen them on ebay, but dont know if they would be trustworthy or not. Anyone have one laying around or know where I can get one? Its for a 91. 5 intercooled motor. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had good luck with a local shop in SE MO. Mom and I have both had a pump done by them, and had good luck, though she didnt see the 4-5mpg gain that I did. You can tell these guys what you want in terms of fuelling and RPM, and they'll do it for you.

Check around for a bosch rebuilder, diesel mechanic shop, or maybe a performance place like Piers can help you.
