Where's the best place to buy a new CD for the RB1 Navigation Radio? Mine is shot and causing the radio to malfunction in navigation mode. Is Chrysler/Dodge the only place, or are they available elsewhere?

it's a DVD with a special dual layer DVD format I tried to make a backup copy so I can keep the original safe in my home and they do not work in the RB1

let me know if you figured it out

So far we haven't figured it out. However, when I googled the part number of the latest version -- 5064033AE -- I found Rapidshare DDL - The easy way to download files

The website says they have it in their database -- it costs between $20 and $30 to join rapidshare, and then (apparently) you get unlimited downloads.

Anyone have any experience with this website, or in downloading the nav cd from the internet?

Sounds interesting. I have the RB4 with no discs, so I'm also looking for options. Also, the left rear speaker gave out. I thought it was under warranty, and ended up spending over $100 to have the dealer tell me it was the amplifier. It sucks that I'm down only one speaker and they say I'll need another $400 to fix it. Anyone fixed a blown or defective amp with something else? Sorry for sidetracking this thread. I should probably start a new one.

Navigation Dvd

I need to have a copy of the DVD also, mine quit working, what can i do in return. Burn some music : -- email address removed --

I bought my updated disc from the guy in the auction below. It works perfectly, is the updated version (AF) and he removes the in motion restrictions so a passenger can program the destination, search for restaurants and gas stations, etc. while the vehicle is moving. I'm happy with it.

Chrysler Dodge Jeep REC RB1 Navigation in motion disc - eBay (item 290248099115 end time Aug-02-08 06:56:45 PDT)

Ebay will probably shut him down pretty quick as this is more than likely a pirated disk. They are all around on the BitTorrent sites. If you want a pirated piece of software why buy it?:-laf

He's been at it for a couple of months at least.

A reason to buy from him is that he is using the proper disc as there are some types of discs out there that won't work properly. I didn't want to deal with finding the right disc and then having to find the download site and all that.

I wouldn't buy a pirated disc if they made the disc without the "in motion" restrictions. This is the only way around the restrictions.
