Where to buy Valvoline Premium Blue

At home in Canada, I have only found Premium Blue at the Cummins dealer. I am in Arizona and wondered if it's the same here or do some retail outlets sell it.

I have seen it at Advance Auto, AutoZone, and Tractor Supply here locally.
Chances are if your not in a hurry you can find it online for a better price and have it delivered to your doorstep.

It has also been said, and I'd check, Napa oil brand is packaged by Valvoline. But as I say, double check for your self.

It's scarcer than hen's teeth around here. The only thing more scarce is the Premium Blue 'Extreme' which I have only found at the Cummins distributors in Birmingham and Montgomery.

Here is a link for the Valvoline Company. You input your local zip code (US) for where you are and they will provide a list of retailers who sell Valvoline oil. I found 15 retailers who sold this product in my local area.

Yup only place i have found it was NAPA. Ended up buying the NAPA premium 15-40W . Its Valvoline premium in there bottle...

True indeed, however - the Napa diesel oil is the Valvoline All Fleet, not the Premium Blue.

I usually get on sale at Advance Auto or Autozone for 12.99 a gallon

Valvoline needs to spend some money on sales and marketing at the dealer level to go along with their research and development. They obviously have a superior product line as evidenced by their long term relationship with Cummins, but if the product line is difficult to access they are spinning their wheels.

Funny thing about the Valvoline and Cummins relationship,the 2014 Manuals suggest Rotella.

That valvoline premium blue with the cummins label is only rated and tested for 2 diffrent cummins motors. Those motors are semi-truck motors not our 5.9L or 6.7L in our trucks. That said it still was the best test oil in that tdr oil test. I like Rottella too.We run it in our 4-stroke race bikes for motocross

I have used both and my OA continues to come back with excellent results. I was at the CMEP Tour last year and remain very impressed/sold by the presentation given by the Valvoline speaker. That being said, I still wonder, IMO, whether or not Valvoline is not tying the hands of their market development and sales promotion team with some sort of process involving too restrictive engineering justifications in these areas, or worse, some bean-counter cutting funds out of the budget.

With over forty years in private industry, first as an industrial engineer and then transitioning over to sales and marketing, I have seen on several ocassions when one or the other team gets the upper hand - and it's not good for the organization as a whole. It is also very counter-productive having bean-counters pulling the strings.

Valvoline is on the five-yard line and can't seem to punch it over for the TD. You can't sell out of an empty warehouse!

I have a couple of oils I do a subscription with from Amazon, it turns out cheaper than the local shops and I know I have it.
I can't always count on the local shops having it, and have wasted lots of gas or diesel running around trying to find the right oil and or enough of it..
I'm lov'in the subscription service from Amazon...

I'm not sure in this case, but with other orders through Amazon I've made they offer free shipping on orders over $50? IIRC.

If you find an oil you like that is available on the subscription service, shipping is free (maybe it's because I also have the amazon prime, but I don't think so ), and the product is further discounted when using the subscription service.

For my jeeps (we have a few in the family), I get a Valvoline shipment every 2 months.. beats running around looking for it.
Stores around here seem to be stocking less buffer, and seemed to be fine with leaving the shelf empty for a little while.

For my TDRam, I'm down to only changing the oil twice a year, use a synthetic 5w-40 for the winter and a dino 15w-40 for the summer.
So I tend to buy it when I find it and put it on the shelf, Wallyworld seems to have the best prices.
Till recently, seemed we were at wallyworld every other week anyway.
