Where to find longer rear U-bolts?

I need some rear u-bolts about an 1" to 1. 5" longer than OEM to be able to add traction bar mounts.



Where do I find them!?!?!?

If you have a local welding shop check them out. They can most likely fab them for you.

Any spring shop or truck repair shop should have them. I got mine from a Mack dealer, everything for under $60.

Most aftermarket u bolts are not as good a steel as OEM. check other applications, especially with helper springs. don't forget brands F and C, trust me, the bolts won't give your Ram mange

That looks to be the best bet, however they don't list prices on their website.



I know we have a local spring shop in Nashville, I just have to wait till tomorrow to find out what the name is and see if they make custom u-bolts.

i have had reasonably good success getting them from my NAPA store. they don't have them in stock, but can get them in one to two days. they don't list all variations, but do have most.

theres a place here in lansing mi that makes them to any length you want for under $40. i put some 3" blocks in the rear of my 98 and the made them while i watched, great bolts and at a good price, the name of the company is state spring. open late and good people to work with.
