Competition Where to find truck pulls???

I was in a truck pull event thid weekend in Dalhart, TX. This was my first competition pull and I am HOOKED!! Oo. Oo. I had a blast even though I ended up 3rd with a 255' and a 290'. 1st had a 262" and a full pull, so not too bad for a greenhorn, plus they were all running auto transmission Fords. Where do I look on the WWW to find events for stock trucks? I must do this again soon:{ Also any advice on hitch types, or gear selection is great. I used a receiver with a 6" rise and a twist clevis. Hook point was at 26", max allowed. TIA Oo. Oo.

Your best bet would have been to ask the other pullers and/or the sled operator. Sled operators are usually booked way in advance and they can tell you where they are going next.

There's going to be a pull in DeLeon, Tx this upcoming weekend. A couple of us are coming up from the Austin area. Let me know if you want some more info.
