Which Flowmaster To Buy?

South Bend Clutch "Cryo and Inlay"

Where can I get a descent code reader for my truck. I am going to start some mods, but from what I've read they can kick up codes sometimes. Seems like a good investment. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just do a search for code readers or diagnostic equipment. There are many readers available, and they range in price from 30-400 or more. Some are very complicated and not only read your truck but many different models, and perform higher levels of diagnostic applications.

Actron, and Auto Xray are two very popular do it yourself engine diagnostic scanners. They both offer a wide variety of diagnostic service and price. From the entry level simple code reader, to the advanced units that test sensors and diagnose problems. Both can be purchased at mail order stores like Summit Racing or jeggs, and locally at stores like Sears, Auto Zone, Pep Boys and Advanced Auto. The best prices can be found on the web, usually at the larger professional automotive service stores.
