Installing the New Rancho 9000's over the weekend discovered that I am out of alignment in the front based on the wear on the inside on the tires. There must be a thousand chains stores around that do alignments and some are lifetime. Who do you guys trust? Do I need to ask any specific questions about the equipment that they have for the job. I have the alignment specs from here (This is the greatest site ever!).

Opinions on national chain places would be good. I am outside of Denver but spend time all over. But if you said to look for a non chain store with a specific piece of equipment I would do that instead.

Thinair, check around and ask where alignments are done on heavier rigs such as ambulances, fire trucks and the like. That's what I was told. I found a place here that does such a thing. Just call some of the "regular" places and ask them to refer you to such a place. Good luck.

Dans alignment at 2901 W 92nd in Westminster is a good honest shop. I've been going there for 20 yrs. They charge $20 to check it, if they can't find anything wrong. Any other shop would make sure they found a problem so they could charge for an alignment. Craig

Vaughn,

which shop do you go to? Do they do 4x4's? I'm about ready for another alignment as we speak and being new to the area (Pasco) I don't know who to trust.

Thanks,

Stay away from the national chains! Tire stores, too... .

You need to find a place specializing in the bigger trucks, the smaller commercial size ones like Vaughn said above, such as ambulances and fire trucks. They'll be VERY GOOD at diagnosing and repairing. Your ball joints could be shot, and the small tire stores won't know the difference! It happened to me... .
