A couple weeks ago there was an incident at work where one of the employees was backing my truck out of its parking spot and caught the door on a pallet of stakes(36" 1x3- not the kind you BBQ). Well it tweaked the door pretty bad but we have been able to still use it. I have searched around local dealers and have gotten quite a few different prices. The one in town wants $860 whils one thats an hour and a half away wants $700. If this was a fender or hood, I would look into an aftermarket piece. But its my door. And if its not right, I'll suffer for 20 years with it(we don't usually sell a vehicle till we cant use it anymore).
On a side note(and I don't know where to put thisor if anyone needs this info), I helped RX7Pat with getting new rotors for his 95 2wd 3500 w/ 4wheel abs. He said dealer was more than $200. So I talked to the local CarQuest parts house and he found them for $93 each. List was $144, and regular price was $120(we get a high volume discount). The hub/rotor assembly included the wheel studs and races for both the inner and outer bearing.
Part # for the ABS hub/rotor is BDR 5379. I do hope this can help someone.
recap- 4wheel abs front hubs for 94-99 3500 DRW list $140 Part # BDR 5379
Part includes bearing races and wheel studs.
Cheers, Earl
