Where can I get one of these? All I've seen have been the singles at Geno's and some other outfit. May have been DIS. I would rather do this than the A-pillar. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Thanks,

Darren

I would check out SUMMIT RACING they have a compleat line on autometer, they are the makers of the steering colum mount. I got mine there and they were almost 20 bucks cheaper then geno's. They have very good prices, and ship free.

Geno's has 'em GM-DG-15014 Dual Mount Steering Pod for "03 trucks - $34. 00, Page 7 of Catalog 41. The steering pods block the vision of the tach and the speedometer and the various information at the bottom of the instrument panel. I opted for the A-pillar mount with the Di-Pricol gauges that match our factory instruments and the set-up looks great. I never used the grab handle anyway, that's what the steering wheel is for:rolleyes: .

Some people need more room, I have the triple a-pillar pod, steering column pod, and four singles, and two gages under the hood. They are a little hard to read.

Thanks guys. I'll check these leads out. I need to do something pretty quick as I already have my EGT installed short of mounting. Got it sitting in the little tray in front of the tranfer case shifter. Geno's needs to brush up on their online catalog. I almost didn't get my Mag-Hytec from them as the one for the 03 wasn't online when I bought. There's an old saying that you can't sell from an empty wagon, their's isn't empty but just don't know what all is in it. Just as bad or even worse perhaps.

Thanks again,

Darren

Darren,

You are sure right about the on-line catalog, it is pretty sorry. The paper catalog that comes with the TDR magazine is usually right up to date.

I just ordered my mount from Summit Racing. I will not waste my time looking for something that's not listed on the site. Not going to make anyone rich buying a gauge mount but in my business even the little sales count toward the bottom line. If you want to sell it then put it on the web. Thank you all for your help with my quest.

Loser Web Marketing

Since so many people do their shopping online these days it just blows me how poorly companies keep their websites updated, not to mention how pathetic some of them are (Geno's website is good, just update it!). If you really want to sell something, then give people the complete 411 on the items you carry! I get annoyed as heck when you keep checking on websites and nothing ever changes, or it's "web page under construction" or "check back for updates on our balloon air system" or whatever. www.mbrp.com is an example of a pathetic website. Lots of dead pages. Hasn't been updated for several months.

I am a perfect example of a buyer who would be an easy sale if you have it listed. I'm an impulse buyer and when I want to buy, no matter the hour, I want to buy right then. I don't want to go hunting around looking for something that I want that someone sells that's not there. Another case in point are the first several sites listed on the Husky online retailers link page. Many of them don't even have e-commerce set up. In fact when I wanted to buy my Husky mud guards I ended up searching for them on Yahoo and instantly had a number pages that I was able to choose from. I don't mean to sound as though I'm being negative but if I had a site that prospective buyers did not find to be adequate I would want to know about it. So please don't take me pseudo rant the wrong way. I really appreciate all the vendors we have here on TDR. In fact, at our Texas Rally this weekend I walked away with a case of Royal Purple motor oil given away by a vendor.
