Where to learn about VE pump?

Is there a book or other reference I can get to learn about the injection pump on my truck. I would like to learn how they operate and of all the parts inside them. I know I could find info on here about turning it up, but would like to understand what I'm doing and whats going on in the pump as a result of me adjusting it. Thanks, Alex

On this very board, I was emailed an entire VE manual last week. I am sure the sender will do the same to you, if not I can email it to you. It is mighty nice too!!

Greenleaf posted a cummins publication number a couple of weeks ago. I have my copy and if I can get off the road long enough to read it, I understand there is some quite good info there.

I don't think Greenleaf has a PDF copy. Only the cummins publication number. I bought my copy from Cummins.
