Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) where to mount pyro probe?

I want to mount the probe in the exhaust manifold before the turbo. I cannot find in previous post the proper placement. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Go more than 2'' from the turbo flange though, it was too close on mine the probe bottomed out and I was forced to pipe plug it and drill and tap on the front 3 runners. Go atleast 2. 5'' from the flange.

Another note, when drilling the hole into the exhaust manifold, I started with small drill bits and worked my way up, in order to reduce shavings. I dipped each drill bit in bearing grease so that most of the shavings collected in the grease and didn't fall in the manifold. Then, I magnetized the tip of a small screwdriver and fished it in the hole to remove any left over shavings .
