I just bought a 96 CC 12valve 4x4 auto.

It has a 5" exhaust from turbo to just in front of the rear wheels.

It is steel pipe to just under the floorboard then is flex pipe until it hits a 90 from under the truck.

The resonance at 60 or on a pull is deafening.

I would like to get a resonator and install it.

Where along the flex would be the best place?

Is it best closer to the motor or farther from it.

Does the flex make the drone worse?

Do you think the resonator end still using the flex would make it better?

Or just tough it out save the money and put on "Cool Duals" like I'd like to have?

Sorry so many ?'s

Thanks, KO

I'm leanin that way. I had a 4" MBRP Dual system on my '03 and it hand very little res after it got a few miles on it.
