Where to put strobes in 06 Ram headlights?

Just picked up an 06 ram and need to know where the best spot to put the strobes in the front head lamps would be, they will be amber.

i am going to do the same but all four corners and clear strobes. i will recieve my megacab on 2-14 and will start investigating. i did it to my 2001 gassser and i just drilled a hole in the back of the lens and the reflective plastic inside worked great. hope this helps for now.

I'd bet if you contact streichers, or code blue (I think that's the name) they'd know.

Hell, just about any police supply place should know.

i did the same in my 98 call clear. but this is a plow truck and wanted the amber. is it ok to put next to the bulb or would it mess up the beam?

Something that really looks cool is if you have fog light and can fit them in there also. I have never thought about it til now but it would look cool to have them in the fog lights. It would look wicked.

I put them in my fog lights and they are very bright. I also fit two pop in type in my third brake light on the cab. Looks very cool!! All this is on my 03 so I dont know if the lights are the same on an 06.

I am removing my 6 strobes out of my 99 on tues and reinstalling them on my 06 over the weekend and will keep you posted. I do these for a living and havent decided yet where I really want them. problem is you have clear housings and if you go with amber bulbs your going to see them. I will let you guys know.

fog lights are to low and the plow would block them.

havent picked the truck up yet. I am getting it tomorrow (fingers crossed) if all goes well with the long list off things I am making the dealer do first... . spray in bedliner, wheel well liners, clearance lights, mud flaps, changing mirror,... ... ... I will let you know. and its real hard to show pics with the flashing thing to deal with.

Did you get your truck and install the strobes yet? I will also be looking to do this in the future and would like to know your experience with it before I attemp.

I did install the strobes both in the back up lights and in the front turn signal locations. did it with a 1" hole saw and put a lot of sealer on the back side, i havn't had and foging of the lenses yet so looks like its all good.
