i just bought one of those genos b&m trans drain plugs. the kind you drill into the pan with. where exactly does this go? any suggestions or pics would be helpful. thanks. scott.
 
don't center it if your 96 has the shallow pan like my 94 . it will press tight against the filter and will not drain out when you go to change the fluid. i centered it on my 01 pan which is a little deeper and it was fine. i now have the mag hytek double deep pan on the 01 so when i get around to it i will put the old 01 pan on the 94.

the rear corner on the passenger side looks like the best place to install the plug in the shallow pan.
